for Submitting your Resume

Format
resume in Word format - 12 pitch - Arial or Times New Roman is
ideal
-
Remove
all fancy fonts / styles, text boxes, pictures, borders, tables,
etc., as these are superfluous to the requirements of a
technical resume and may render our software unable to read or
pass your details to a client as you intend.

If you are a recent
graduate, send a copy of the Transcript of your Results.
You do not need to send Certificates or copies of licenses;
however you should summarise these details on your resume

Do not send copies of
written references. You should however include names and contact
phone numbers of 3 RECENT business referees (not personal) and
provide permission for us to contact them if you are shortlisted.
The referees may be a selection of supervisors,
customers, or suppliers as best demonstrates your capabilities
Make
sure that your resume includes:

the
scope of a role, demonstrates your achievements and describes
responsibilities

if
you are in Australia on a Visa, include details of your visa
(the type, expiry date, etc). See our Overseas
Candidates page for more information on what information is
needed.

Limit
your resume to 5 pages maximum if possible, in point form

Include
a summary of your expertise in point form. This should
demonstrate any of the following that apply: Managment
skills; Technical knowledge and capability; administration
skills, including computer and software skills; and
knowledge of any diagnostic equipment

Details
of your qualifications and a summary of any short courses that
are relevant to your career goals.
Cover Letters
Cover
letters are very important, and can provide supplementary
information about your availability, expectations, position
requirements such as desired location of work, career objectives
etc.
You
should always include a cover letter that addresses the specific
requirements of an advertisement – ie: relate your background and
expertise to the position criteria. Why are you the
stand out candidate for the position?
Your
cover letter helps to market your skills to us and our client in
turn.
