Privacy Policy
AZ-Tech is
principally in the business of placing candidates that register with
our company for projects with our clients and for permanent
placements in client organisations. This inevitably entails the
supply of personal information to us by a candidate in a resume,
written application, interview discussions, third party reference
checks and finally in supplementary discussions. Implicit in the
nature of these activities is our requirement to handle personal
information as Private and Confidential.
We are therefore responsible for ensuring that all
communications given In Confidence are respected as such and not
disclosed to a 3rd party without the full knowledge and agreement of
the issuing party. This means that a Consultant may not forward a
candidate resume or personal information to a client without the
candidate’s knowledge and agreement.
Likewise, client information of a commercial nature, such as
tender details, are not available for disclosure, unless and until
negotiations for placement make this appropriate.
Information may not be used for secondary purposes without
permission of the issuer.
AZ-Tech
formatted Resumes may be amended for the sake of clarity, brevity or
inclusion of additional information supplied by the candidate or a
referee during the selection process.
However a candidate’s intrinsic expertise is not to be
misrepresented in any way. Formatted
resumes are now described as “Profiles” to differentiate that
information from a candidate’s personal resume. The profile may
contain information gathered by the Consultant about a candidate’s
history and circumstances, but will not contain their personal
identifying information. Our
company name and contact details appear on page footers so that all
communications with the recipient are via AZ-Tech and do not
infringe upon the candidate’s privacy.
Sensitive
information is only to be gathered and stored where such information
can be shown to be essential to our Risk Management process or for
remote site project applications where such information about the
client and candidate circumstance is critical to the reasonable
success of a relocation. Such
information is restricted to whatever information is considered
relevant ie: family circumstances where single status accommodation
restrictions apply, cultural or language abilities that could be
relevant to offshore placements etc.
Candidates retain the right to view and correct their
personal identifying information held by us and to correct or update
this data, provided that there is no legitimate reason for denial
(such as imminent threat to health or safety, legal requirements
etc). Candidates retain the right to make anonymous enquiries.
However anonymous applications cannot be acted upon.
Likewise information that identifies the client will not be
disclosed before full candidate disclosure details are submitted and
agreement is reached regarding our role as intermediary.
