Payment
Terms
We pay our contractors weekly by EFT and we invoice our clients
weekly, unless special alternate arrangements are agreed between the
parties in advance. Therefore
please discuss any special requirements that you may have with your
consultant. We request our invoices be paid promptly within 14 days
of receipt of invoice as a matter of understanding that the
employment costs are incurred in the week prior to the invoice
issue. We acknowledge that until such time as we cycle within the
client's accounting system, initial temporary delays can occur.
However these need to be negotiated at the time of contract
implementation rather than when a payment falls into arrears.
Quality
Assurance
The
Directors and Managers share equal responsibility for our Business
Management Systems (QA System)
We
adhere to the Code of Ethics of the RCSA (our relevant industry
association) and State Code of Conduct framework covering the
recruitment industry. The
Principal Consultants have completed special tertiary training in
the engineering field as well as RSCA approved training to qualify
as Professional Consultants. Between
them, the Consulting team has more than 36 years of recruitment
practice experience operating under these standards.
We
use a documented procedure for handling complaints as per SA 4-01
Business Management Administration, Section 6.
We perform our own regular Internal Quality Appraisal Audits,
in line with ISO9002. Our first audit was undertaken in 1/11/97 for
the first completion of our own complete system by Audit Consultant,
Mr Graham Blackman, of Quadnet Pty Ltd (Quality Consulting
Services).
We
have since completed an internal document control system under which
we operate to this day.
At
this time we have elected not to pursue full external accreditation
due to the size of this business and the fact that operations within
our small, cohesive team have proven highly effective without need
of an externally controlled audit regime.
We review these decisions at regular Directors' meetings,
with the intent of meeting the changing needs of the market within
the capacity of our operating structure as necessary.
Our
operating philosophy is based upon the premise that the Directors
adopt a hands-on approach to the business in all respects.
This facilitates prompt decision-making and responsibility
being taken for follow through of procedures, as the Consultant
handling a client project is actively involved in every aspect of
service, placement negotiation and administration for that
assignment. Thus an
unbroken direct line of communication exists between the
stakeholders that minimises the possibility of error or omissions
and enables prompt resolution of any matter of concern.
